FOLD, UNFOLD, RESET
Brooke LeBourgeois and Tamarin Hennebury, two seasoned yoga teachers from New Orleans, would like to invite you to start 2027 by stopping. This pause allows the nervous system the time it takes to shift our biological cycles and habits towards peace. The neurological reset then resonates in our Immune system during the year ahead.
Brooke’s sessions in the morning will move through poses to awaken strength, balance and alignment. Tamarin’s evening class will trend towards relaxation with gentle yoga and restorative poses from heaven. We will be focusing daily on the same group of pranayama techniques so that you have them in your back pocket for life. There will also be a daily silent sitting meditation if that interests you.
This retreat is also an opportunity for connecting with others. We all like to eat good food, learn new things, laugh whenever possible and we love yoga. That is a good recipe for connection. If you like the idea of setting aside time in a luxurious beachside villa practicing yoga, water sports, reading in a hammock or visiting a funky beachside bar, you have found it.
Here’s who we are:
Brooke LeBourgeois
With over 15 years as a teacher of yoga, one of the most rewarding parts has been witnessing the transformation that happens when students begin to move beyond the physical practice and develop a deeper awareness of themselves.
My intention, both as a practitioner and a teacher, is to share the artful balance that first drew me to yoga—movement and stillness, strength and flexibility, breath and awareness—while creating space for each student to explore their own inward awareness. For me, yoga is not simply about how deeply we can move into a pose. It is about how deeply we can move into ourselves.
Tamarin Hennebury
My intention is to help students develop their physical yoga practice with curiosity, kindness and an awareness of the subtle, intuitive and healing aspects of yoga. With 20 years of teaching experience and 750+ hours of teacher training by renowned yoga teachers, I believe I have something to offer others. As an occupational therapist, I developed a therapeutic yoga program in a large cancer center. I am able to treat patients using therapeutic yoga and provide training to other therapists to help integrate this ancient medicine into the modern medical setting.
Cost: single $3400
Double $2800
